Resume American Bluff
American Bluff is a film directed by David O. Russell with Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper. Between fiction and reality, AMERICAN BLUFF plunges us into the fascinating world of one of the most extraordinary scandals that shook America in the 1970s.
A particularly brilliant con man, Irving Rosenfeld, and his beautiful accomplice, Sydney Prosser, find themselves forced by an FBI agent, Richie DiMaso, to swim in the troubled waters of the mafia and the government to trap a corrupt politician, Carmine Polito. The trap is risky, especially since Irving's unpredictable wife, Rosalyn, could well lead them all to their loss...

Resume Miami Vice
Miami Vice did not necessarily revolutionize the detective series, already largely reinvented by Hill Street Blues on the same channel in 1981, but certainly adapted the genre to the cultural, societal and musical upheavals taking place in Reagan's America. A solar and deviant counterpart of Hill Street Blues, of which it was initially intended to be a spin-off, Miami Vice was created by scriptwriter Anthony Yerkovich, a defector of Hill Street Blues. She follows the turbulent investigations of Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) and Ricardo Tubbs (Philip Michael Thomas). Two cops assigned to the Miami-Dade County Police Vice Squad, whose missions are to infiltrate mafia drug trafficking and prostitution networks. Taking advantage of a law allowing law enforcement to use property seized from criminals for an investigation, officers Crockett and Tubbs are apparently leading a major effort to better infiltrate their targets. Under the false identity of dealer Sony Burnett, Crockett lives on a yacht, drives Ferraris and his pet is an alligator named Elvis.
